Mechanical properties
Generally, the compressive strength is the property which is first discussed with regard to High Performance Concretes, but while this property is certainly impressive for CRC, the ductility, durability and strength in bending are often considered more spectacular.
Properties are dependent on the type of aggregate, the amount of main reinforcement and fibre reinforcement, but a typical range of properties is shown in the table below.
