Balcony slabs

A number of pre-cast balcony slabs have been produced by Unicon Beton for different projects, where the strength and durability of CRC have been utilised to design light and slender structures.

The freedom in design is considerable and in one project - a cantilevered slab for Nansensgade, Copenhagen - the thickness of the slab, where the maximum moment is sustained, is only 60 mm.

In Løngangsgade, Hillerød the flexibility of CRC was used to produce balcony slabs for corners of an apartment building. In other projects, a more simple solution of a uniform slab supported by steel has been used.

Domus were architects on Nansensgade, while Arkitekttegnestuen Møllestræde were architects on Løngangsgade. H. Hoffmann & Sønner were in charge of both  projects.
